This surplus supplier of water is built across Meenichiladipuzha and Padipuzha rivers, the tributaries of Aylampuzha River. It takes its place in the Pothundi Village in the shades of Nelliyampathi hills.

2. Nelliyampathy Guha, the next entry point

As you cross the Pothundi Dam, you will find a spectacular viewpoint from the Nelliyampathy Guha. It is seated on the Nelliyampathy foothills forming a waypoint for animal-hunting.

For any nature lover, this viewpoint is a good feast for his eyes. It is also one of the places in Nelliyampathy to capture good photographs amidst nature. It forms the next entry point to the hills after the Pothundi Dam.

3. Eye-opening viewpoints

The Seetharkundu viewpoint is the next place to halt, view and take pictures. The place has its own sign of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita’s halt during their exile, thus it got the name Seetharkundu. You also get a splendid view of waterfalls from this viewpoint. It stands next to Nelliyampathy Guha in the viewpoints queue.
